American Roadside Burgers is planning to demolish an existing service station on the corner of S. Irvine Street and E. McBee Avenue in Spartanburg, South Carolina and will become the third American Roadside Burger store that Wagner Murray Architects has designed. Each store constructed to date is thematically representative of the aesthetic appearance of the 1950/1960’s drive-in restaurants which dotted the American landscape. These buildings were usually noted for their distinct architectural appearance, detail and colorful design features.
