Tom Lewison Joins Board of Directors of American Roadside
Tom Lewison, former president and chief operating officer of Bojangles’ Restaurants Inc., has joined the board of directors for American Roadside Burgers.
Lewinson has more than 35 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having climbed the ranks from hourly employee to top executive. His background includes a stint as executive vice president of operations for CKE Restaurants’ Hardee’s Food Systems. Lewison is also credited for his part in developing and executing the strategic plan that ultimately led to the turnaround of the Bojangles’ brand.
“We believe his vast experience in growing Bojangles’ and Hardee’s will make a major contribution to American Roadside Burgers’ success as we expand this fast-casual burger chain,” Rich LaVecchia, chairman and chief executive of American Roadside Burgers,said in a press release.
American Roadside Burgers has a restaurant in Smithtown, N.Y., one in uptown Charlotte and a third that is slated to open in SouthPark in May. The company plans to open its fourth and fifth locations in South Carolina by the end of the year.
