American Roadside Smithtown to Renovate, Expand Menu

American Roadside Burgers will soon have a new look and menu.

“The Smithtown location is successful and is a staple in the market. We want to use these successes and incorporate the American burger focus to make the new American Roadside,” Chairman and CEO of the restaurant Rich LaVecchia said via email statement.

The restaurant chain, which opened its first location on Main Street in Smithtown back in October 2007, will introduce its new interior theme at the location – what they refer to as the “Made in America” feel. The new theme will include new signage, wall décor, five high-definition televisions, sound system and floors.

Robertson said the renovations have been done after-hours and early in the morning to avoid disrupting customers, and all renovations should be completed by next week.

The restaurant will continue to serve its signature burgers and add items such as turkey and veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings and salads. The restaurant will also offer more toppings, side items desserts and beverages.

“We wanted to offer Smithtown something new, but stay true to the reasons why our guests come to our store,” said LaVecchia.

In an effort to drive customers into the Main Street location to experience the new look and menu, American Roadside will offer 50-cent wings and $1 RoadSliders from Jan. 27-29, 2012.
